The PMA has updated its Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and Data Protection & GDPR Policy, with immediate effect. These changes were made primarily in preparation for the EU’s new data privacy law, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the new UK Data Protection Law.

The changes make a number of improvements in accordance with the current legislation and regulations by providing:

  • Greater transparency about how the PMA uses your information;
  • Accessible information related to your rights and obligations with respect to your personal data; and
  • Additional details about the PMAs use of cookies to make your use of the PMA website more user friendly and effective.

The Practice Managers Association, holds your data which includes name, email address and business telephone number, purely in relation to your role in Primary Care and your GP practice. The PMA have been emailing you regularly regarding your legitimate business interests, mainly on subjects relating to GP practice management.

We will only email you with information related to your role within general practice and GP practice services and PMA communications will be of genuine legitimate interest to your business.

For the above reasons we will continue to email you with relevant information, services and products unless you tell us otherwise. If you wish to opt out you can at any time by clicking on the unsubscribe or opt out button, which we will always display in the footer section of our emails in accordance with the new legislation.
