In development – coming soon
This course provides a comprehensive overview of the core knowledge and key components required to take responsibility for the effective maintenance of primary care finance systems within a practice or group of practices.
It will provide a baseline for anyone in an administrative or management role within primary care who already has a limited involvement with finance and accountancy management and wants to expand their knowledge in order to extend their responsibilities.
It is a two- part programme with each stage consisting of 7 modules. It is estimated that each module will take learners 2-3 hours to complete but this is entirely dependent on prior knowledge and experience.
Stage 1 – provides information, guidance and resources on the day to day running of the finance function in practices.
Stage 2 – building on stage 1, this will explore areas of a more specialised nature such as tax and superannuation, as well as the wider landscape, for those individuals who want to extend their knowledge and responsibilities.
This is a flexible, online programme ideal for Level 3 and above. Level 2 in numeracy and basic IT skills are recommended.
A range of formats and learning methods will be included including case studies, interactive exercises and worksheets and knowledge checks.
How much does it cost?
The cost for the course is £295 and includes the ILM certificate awarded on successful completion.
