Project Description

This workshop will help you understand the full NHS supply chain model from sourcing to patient by talking through key activities in the supply chain that affect you and your practice.

It will present what procurement is and explain how you can utilise levers to gain access to savings and reduce costs.

The interactive session will allow an open forum to talk about products and practices in the wound care and infection prevention and control product areas, looking at improvements and best practice.

The workshop will be interactive and you will be encouraged to share challenges and concerns you see in your daily practice.

  • Duration: All day

  • Location: On-site/locally

Who should attend?

Don't miss opportunity to work with leading specialists in a series of full day workshops specifically focused on the ‘business’ aspects of General Practice.

This workshop is ideal for Practice and Business Managers or other staff involved in procurement.

By the end of the workshop delegates will have an understanding of:

  • The full NHS supply chain from source to patient
  • The meaning of Procurement

  • The importance of the voice of the customer
  • The levers to capture savings and aggregation
